Yep, I'm a bit late top this particular party, and nope, I have not read the book. It's on the list for when I'm once again reading for pleasure, but did catch the movie and, living in a bible-belt town with a surprisingly large Catholic presence, am oh-so-aware of all the controversy. Question: when or where does the movie call into question either the divinity or the humanity of Christ?
I'm a tom hanks fan. I'm a ron howard fan. So the movie would have to miss huge for me to criticize it. I thought it was entertaining and truth be told, one reason I haven't yet read the book is because I *really* wanted to love the movie, and the book, I know, would make that harder. Once I figured out the female inspector was the lead from Amelie (the best "quirky" movie ever), putting an end to that particular distraction, t'was fabulous!
What I'm reading. What I'm watching. What I'm growing. What I'm making. What I'm playing. What I'm planning.
